Providing wedding photography for Mim and Mikey’s Viking-themed on Saturday was amazing. I have seen many medieval re-enactments, but this Viking-themed wedding was a first for me. I was really looking forward to the day ahead.
It was simply amazing! It all took place in a field at Root ‘n’ Branch Acres in Hampton-in-Arden, where Mim and Mikey (and friends) had recreated a Viking settlement and medieval banqueting hall.
Guests wore period clothing, played traditional games like archery, and handled birds of prey. It was all very colourful. There was a lot for guests to enjoy.
Weddings don’t come more unique than this one. Asking guests to dress in period clothing seriously added to the authenticity of this Viking-themed wedding.
After an amazing wedding ceremony, I took Mim and Mikey for a walk around the campsite. We stopped in various locations for photos. It was great! The pictures I took in the woods are particularly romantic.
Well done both for hosting a fabulous wedding!
