Schaffhausen, Switzerland ‘The IWC Watch Museum’ | Travel Photography

I’m a big fan of wristwatches and while visiting Germany recently I took a train to Schaffhausen in Switzerland to visit the International Watch Company (IWC) watch museum, located just 10 mins from the train station, on the edge of the river Rhine. The museum is very stylist and houses some very important timepieces from IWC, with displays dedicated to each type of watch they have produced over the years. I spent a good 2 hours looking around and chatting with the very helpful staff. The boutique at the back of the museum has watches for sale, but unfortunately I could only afford the museum catalogue, but a purchase once back in the UK (‘the IWC book’) arrived in time for father’s day. Magic!
