One of my first jobs as a wedding photographer in Birmingham was at The Old Library, Birmingham. This particular wedding had a wonderful vibe to it, and it was fun to photograph.
Rachael and Matt got married formally earlier in the year. And on this day, they wanted to share it with family and friends during a wedding blessing at The Old Library, Birmingham.
I never get tired of working in Digbeth. There’s always so much choice when it comes to taking couples away for photos. You’ll know what I mean when you look through these amazing pictures.
After the humanist wedding blessing that took place indoors, Rachael and Matt (and their guests) made their way outside for drinks and a chat with family and friends.
Afterward, Matt’s work colleagues arrived in a fire engine to the amusement of the bridesmaids. It wasn’t long before I took some fun wedding photos of the bridesmaids being lifted by the fireman! The other guests soon joined the fun.
The wedding breakfast and speeches were hilarious to photograph. I never tire of listening to speeches – best men can be so creative.
Later, I took Rachael and Matt for a walk around the streets and car parks in Digbeth. I wanted to take their pictures with the graffitied walls and street art. Superb!
Oh my gosh, they’re so great! Thank you for sending this over. They look brilliant! Can’t wait to see them all.
