Little Hereford Summer Fete – Fuji Superia 200

little hereford fete

I’ve visited this country fete a few times in recent years and every time I wish I had taken my camera. It’s so quintessentially British, and always reminds me of an event the English photographer Martin Parr would enjoy photographing. There were so many interesting characters, events and stalls to photograph.

Here is a small selection of my favourite images

For those interested, all photos were captured with the Contax G2 and Zeiss Biogon 28mm f/2.8 lens, and Fuji Superia 200 colour film and a single roll of Kodak ColorPlus 200 towards the end of the day. Negatives were scanned with VueScan using the Minolta DiMAGE Scan Elite 5400 film scanner. Small tonal and exposure adjustments were made in Adobe Camera Raw.
